Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These Terms and Conditions describe the rules for visiting and using ClassroomGames.org. By accessing the website, you agree to follow these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, you should stop using the website.

1. About our service

Classroom Games is an independent website that provides educational games, interactive teacher tools, classroom ideas, and related articles. Most activities run in an ordinary web browser. Features may change as we add new games, fix errors, improve accessibility, or update technical systems.

The website provides general educational resources rather than individualized instruction, professional school services, or a guaranteed curriculum. Teachers, schools, guardians, and other adult supervisors are responsible for choosing appropriate activities and supervising participants.

2. Permitted uses

You may visit public pages, use games in ordinary lessons, display them on classroom screens, create your own lists or questions, and print outputs where a game includes a print feature. You may share links to publicly accessible pages with colleagues and families.

You may not claim to own the underlying website design or code, commercially resell copies of our materials without permission, remove ownership notices from protected content, or use the service in a way that violates the rights of others. Any rights not expressly granted remain with their respective owners.

3. Your responsibility for classroom use

You must use appropriate judgment when deciding whether a game is suitable for the age, abilities, and learning needs of students. For movement activities such as Four Corners, provide safe paths and equivalent seated participation where needed.

The Name Picker, Team Generator, polls, and custom quizzes can display text entered by an adult. Do not enter or reveal unnecessary student personal information. Teachers and schools remain responsible for their own safeguarding duties and local policies.

4. User-supplied text and materials

You may enter words, questions, options, team labels, or other material into the tools. You are responsible for ensuring that the material is lawful, appropriate for a classroom, and used with any necessary rights or permissions.

The current games are designed to use these values within the browser rather than publish them as community posts. Printing or saving results may create files on your own device. Review the Privacy Policy for the distinction between browser inputs and technical site logs.

5. Prohibited activities

  • Attempting to interfere with the website, its hosting, security systems, or another person’s access.
  • Using automated traffic, scraping, or technical requests in ways that disrupt normal site operation.
  • Submitting or displaying threatening, abusive, unlawful, or discriminatory content through a custom activity.
  • Misrepresenting an affiliation with Classroom Games, a school district, or a public education authority.
  • Copying or redistributing protected material beyond permissions given here or applicable law.

6. Intellectual property and third-party content

Unless otherwise stated, original articles, interface text, graphics, and software made available by Classroom Games may be protected by copyright and other laws. Names, logos, and trademarks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Teachers may use the publicly available tools for normal instructional purposes. If you believe any material infringes your copyright, review our Copyright and DMCA Policy. References to external educational services do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

7. Availability, changes, and errors

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features without maintaining every older version. Games can occasionally fail because of browser limitations, network interruptions, device settings, JavaScript restrictions, hosting problems, or coding defects.

We aim to fix confirmed errors, but we do not guarantee continuous availability, a specific learning result, or perfect accuracy. Review the Disclaimer and report problems at contact@classroomgames.org.

8. No warranties and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-available basis without warranties that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or appropriate for any specific educational purpose. Any legal rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, Classroom Games and its operators are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of these free informational tools. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not legally permitted.

9. External links, privacy, and changes

Links to third-party websites are supplied for convenience and research. Those sites set their own conditions and privacy practices. If we add advertising, affiliate relationships, or new account-based features, associated disclosures and terms may need to be updated.

The date at the top indicates the latest revision of these terms. Continuing to use the website after a revision may be treated as acceptance where legally allowed. For questions, email contact@classroomgames.org.
